Can we just say that we’ve seen way too many fantastic parties in our inboxes as of late? Let’s see, there was this eclectic Moroccan-inspired dinner and yesterday’s endless summer soirée, and now this garden brunch Jennifer of Evermore Weddings and Events sent our way. People are definitely in a festive state of mind and we don’t hate it! Whether or not you have a bridal shower or any other brunch on the calendar, pretty sure Shauna Veasey’s photos will leave you brimming with ideas.

A few notes from the Evermore team… Our inspiration came from one of our brides, Katie, her personal story, and how important her group of friends is to her. Throughout the process of planning Katie’s wedding we were able to meet some of those special friends and family. For a long time we have wanted to create a styled bridal shower, so Katie and her bridesmaids were the natural group of ladies to choose. Our goal of the shoot was to capture the true meaning of sisterhood, friendship and genuinely celebrating the bride.

The ladies made floral wreaths, bracelets, and accessories to wear for the shower too.

They wanted to bring nature + whimsy together, two words we’re always delighted to see. Don’t they look lovely amongst the lavender, blush, and ivory color palette?

An old porch swing was converted to a low table where the girls could sit on blankets and pillows to enjoy their brunch menu. A moss and lace runner lined the center of the table with varying low deconstructed arrangements made with garden flowers consisting of hydrangeas, garden roses and alliums. Hung above the girls was a simple DIY copper pipe chandelier draped with dyed silk ribbons and glass floral containers with single stems of flowers. Matching vintage china, flatware with a patina finish, vintage colored glasses, and dyed ombre lavender napkins served as the place setting. Small hand-painted watercolor cakes set atop brass candlesticks and served as the personalized place cards.
