The Mission San Jose in San Antonio, TX first stole our hearts exactly one year ago and ever since we’ve been waiting most patiently for our next chance to show off this ever-gorgeous venue. And while it’s not hard to envision a wedding at such a spectacular church venue, Janna Brown Design and Hayley Waldo Photography sure knocked it out of the park when it came to doing a historic venue the proper justice. Beginning with this beauty of a tablescape…
This Spanish inspired shoot has been lovingly called, “The Drunken Feast.” It features a gorgeous backdrop in the middle of San Antonio, Texas at the centuries old Mission San Jose. The Mission’s historic walls are the perfect backdrop for the tables topped with a garland of fruits, books, and wine—gorgeous details amongst the other neutral tones of the shoot. The paper details by Lazywood Lane pair beautifully with the elements of the Mission and that Costarellos gown…it so perfectly captures Spanish elegance.
Janna Brown Design styled the scene to have fine art details with a subtle modern twist.Pretty unique table runner idea (complete with fruit, books, vines, and candles), don’t you think?
The crew snagged this delicate, sultry Costarellos gown from The Dress Theory.
Love this groom’s teal suit!
Kudos to Hayley Waldo Photography and the talented crew below on pulling together such beautiful Spanish elegance.
