100 Layer Cake best of 2016: wedding decor
Happy New Years Eve eve, friends! How excited are you to start fresh in 2017? As many ups and downs as there were, we’re sooooo grateful we got to spend a major part of it sharing beautiful inspiration. Even if you didn’t plan a big event this year, seeing so much creativity in one place always perks us up, and we hope it did for you too. For this last of our best-of 2016 posts, we’re taking a peek at just some of the killer decor we wrote about this year. Rainbow chairs, dip-dyed backdrops, boho lounges, and TONS of flowers. Yes, yes, yes, and YES!
All you DIY brides will want to jump right into this bohemian Ace Hotel wedding shot by Jenn Emerling of YEAH! weddings. The bride + her mom planned the whole thing, and the handmade details are endless.
When fall rolled around, we were enamored with all the dark and moody designs we saw, like the romantic lighting in this ‘over the moon’ themed wedding inspiration by Something Borrowed Portland and Hazelwood Photo. Other noteworthy details include a silvery wedding gown and the dreamiest tablescape.
Like we said, dip-dye was big this year. Pair it with flowers and you’ve won our hearts forever! Design by Blush & Bashful and The Petal Post with images by Chandra’s Collection Photography. See how to throw an intimate backyard wedding!
Eeeee, what a year! Thanks to everyone who followed along and those who shared their insanely creative, hard work with us! Wishing you all *the best* start to 2017 this weekend. Find our other best-of 2016 posts here. See you on the other side, folks!
