There’s a reason we share *so* many images from each Real Wedding we feature, and it’s because a beautiful celebration is all about the details. This year, those details were more colorful than ever, with mismatched textures and sensational flowers creating a maximalist vibe like in this jewel-toned wedding we shared early on:
From the invitation suite right down to these printed appetizer cones…
…the whole wedding was a maximalist’s dream.
The dreamy Spring florals in this wedding served as inspiration for the whole celebration, which featured floral-pressed invitations and a gorgeous botanical garden venue. And of course, dogs are always a favorite detail of ours too!
From the pink wedding dress to the bridesmaids floral baskets to the ice cream sprinkles escort card display, the details in this wedding also topped our list. The photos from this beautiful day were also among our top Instagram posts of the year!
Speaking of color, we adored the whimsical details and runway-style aisle in this Wes Anderson inspired wedding. Love those pink chairs!
This gradient of rainbow blooms for the ceremony… Too good!
The creative ceremony details in this Spring garden wedding began with gorgeous hanging lanterns, and carried through to the cocktail hour and reception, which included a custom canoe bar and more lanterns overhead. And did we mention the surprise gospel choir?!
Of course, we celebrated with our fair share of creative wedding cakes this year, like this yummy Reese’s peanut butter cup cake.
And a beautiful, classic bow-adorned wedding cake which contrasted beautifully against its maximalist backdrop.
Like we said way back in January, maximalism was here in a major way, and one beautiful way to channel the trend was with creative escort card displays like this aqua and floral design.
Can’t go wrong with a pop-tail on a warm day! This couple channeled an outdoor adventure theme, by offering each guest a paleta-infused agua fresca to sip and wooden placard ornament favors to keep as they found their way to their seats.
And here’s that ice cream themed escort card display we mentioned above, featuring sprinkles as favors!
But sometimes it’s the venue that has all the detail you need! Like the unique venues we raved about in this top post from 2023. What a dream!
