A beautiful backyard homespun fall wedding

November 5, 2021

Fall backyard weddings are so lovely, aren’t they? They are so cozy and intimate, just like your favorite holiday gatherings. For these two, hosting the wedding at their very own home was one of their favorite parts about the whole day. Of course, there was also the homemade pies their neighbor baked, mobile bar, fall feast, and dancing under the stars. See how it all came together by perusing the images Berkley Martin Photography shared below…

Lauren’s gorgeous lace gown comes from BHLDN, and her ‘maids wore Show Me Your Mumu neutrals.

Love how all the groomsmen sported the same look, with groom Alejandro in a red tie!

You can never go wrong with fall florals, especially as arranged by New Orleans floral studio Doris Ione.

And how cute is this bar situation? Would be such a sweet surprise for a backyard wedding!

Their neighbor, Mrs. Frances Chauvin, bakes the best pies from scratch every week for the New Orleans and Baton Rouge farmers markets. We can almost smell the apples and pecans…

From the bride… We dropped all of the obligations and expectations and wanted our wedding day to be relaxed, intimate, and a reflection of our love. We had a small guest count that included immediate family, mentors, and friends that we do life with. By having a smaller wedding, we were able to host it at our home and elevate the experience by adding speciality elements and booking our favorite vendors. We had guests from Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico, Miami, Dallas, Tampa, and the local area attend our special day! We ended the night with an enchanting sky lantern sendoff.
