Romantic California ranch wedding: Tiffany + Tim

Romantic California ranch wedding

When Tim + Tiffany met in San Diego, he had plans to jet off to Europe for grad school, so they didn’t think the timing was quite right. But they stayed in constant contact, and two years later when they were reunited, their love was stronger than ever. Obviously these two have an incredible connection, and their wedding captured by Sarah of Betsi Ewing Studio (full of DIYs!) shows how much they put into their wedding day:

Tiffany says, When we found Quail Ranch, it was everything we wanted- outdoors/natural beauty, expansive space, BYOB. We loved the classic Spanish-style/California architecture of the house and it was one of the first venues where we could picture ourselves getting married. Joanne, (venue owner) was also very open with my many DIY ideas and allowed me to use the space how I wanted.

Tiffany didn’t officially choose a color scheme, but was totally inspired by the Pantone colors of the year: rose quartz + serenity. Love them!

Aren’t these two so cute? The bride’s wearing Rue De Seine ‘Fox’ from The Dress Theory.

Now we can really see that serenity + rose quartz color palette shining through! T + T and their fam and friends all worked together on so many do it yourself projects for the day, from collecting decor to donating succulents from their gardens for wedding favors.

We took lessons for our first dance and practiced but I was soooo nervous and knew I would forget the steps. Tim was amazing and whispered the moves in my ear as we danced. We did a couple lifts and it was SO much fun to have him lift me up, spin me around and dip me for our finale!
