Morning cakies! We scheduled this one bright ‘n early to quell any cases of Mondays out there. Given all the bright colors and big smiles and jaw dropping décor JP + Chance incorporated into their big day it wouldn’t surprise us if a bit of the good cheer walked right into Tuesday too. These two first bonded a their mutual love of travel and their whole wedding was a nod to that love in the form of an epic vacay for everyone involved.

You can see the super fun party in these images by Scott Clark Photo:

Bride JP tells us, We both wanted a destination wedding and California was an obvious choice. We were bringing together friends and family from all over so we wanted everyone to make a vacation out of it. We fell in love with The Parker as soon as we toured the venue. The property is the epitome of an instant vacation: the mid-century modern vibe is unreal and grounds are beyond gorgeous!

From designer Vanessa of Alchemy Fine Events and Invitations:

After throwing around a few different design ideas they opted for a simple ceremony design with a woven macrame backdrop and asymmetrical color florals mixed with magnolia leaves. Brightly colored vases with branches and pampas grass started the aisle way and opted to use the Parker’s brown velvet ballroom chairs verses the white folding traditional ceremony chairs for a pop of glam outdoors. Jenn and her bridesmaids carried beautiful bold bouquets by the talented Luna of Arrangements which were offset by the mismatched neutral dresses the girls wore in shades of nude and rose gold.

Celebrating their dog Vinny somehow was a must, so Vanessa named the bar The Vinny Bar and created this cute illustration for napkins + signage.

Vanessa tied strips of fabric to a steel garden orb to represent the seating arrangements, and each table was named after one of the destinations the couple had travelled to.

JP says, Our first year together we traveled to Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Tulum, Napa Valley and NYC. Through endless food-a-thons, hiking, exploring some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and even one case of Montezuma’s revenge, our love grew stronger with each trip.

Sounds like your wedding was the ideal way to celebrate!
