Ready for this? Palm Springs wedding, eight guests, $5,000 budget, planned under a week. Behind it all was Shawna, the hairdresser & Daniel, the contractor that would come in to get his hair cut by Shawna who then rightfully asked her out on a date. The original plan was to throw a summer camp wedding for 150 guests. Then exciting things happened. They bought a house! But it needed a lot of work, and that = $$$, so they decided on a whim to book flights to Palm Springs (where they were engaged a year before) and say ‘I Do’, retro style at the always fun, Ace Hotel.

Just because it was an eight guest wedding doesn’t mean you have to skimp on decor! Shawna made a few vases a little fancier by spray painting them partly gold, and as tableclothes, and this is the genius part, she used Ikea curtains!
They make eloping look darn good, don’t they?
