Southern California ranch wedding: Steffani + Linton

March 26, 2012

Things are just right in the world. Mad Men is back, Love Me Sailor is sharing rad photos of Steffani + Linton’s wedding, and as always, Jesi Haack delivers on the details + decor. With a palette of soft, neutral pastel colors and lots of cheerful textures everywhere, Jesi went to town creating fabric stuffed hearts used for a ceremony backdrop, a garland made of oversized colored balls, a yarn covered backdrop to hold 182 escort cards, and a super original wooden heart guest book where guests signed a “puff” ball. So many fresh ideas in this one that are sure to inspire!

We agree with Steffani – Amber Moon of Pitbulls and Posies is uhh-mazing and can make anyone lust over paper goods. She created a suite that was both textural and interactive. First off they were laser cut. Second, their response card included a needle and yarn so guests could stitch in their reply. Cuteness to the max.

Megan of Honey and Poppies created dreamy bouquets in the style and tone of their wedding. The bridal bouquet was a big, lush arrangement that included garden roses, black and white anemones and dinnerplate cafe au lait dahlias mingling with dusty millers and berzilia berries. The bridesmaids bouquets were a variety of Kale and King Protea, and the boutonnieres had clusters of berries and foliage.

Get a load of their adorable guest book. Jesi cut out a huge wooden heart, placed bundles of puff balls with glued on circles of paper for guests to write on and place on the heart.

Yep, those are sweater cozies with pom pom trim on their centerpieces. You’d never know there were plain o’ jars under them!

How cute are they? Shall we watch their video vignette shot by Son of Sharkpig? We shall.

Star list of vendors + a sweet bride and groom = perfect way to start off the week! Congratulations Steffani + Linton!
