Ready for the brightest, cheeriest flowers and a wedding full of warm sunlight? That’s what Julia + Eric’s day at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum with 210 guests was all about. Not surprising that they chose a glorious Labor Day weekend for the festivities, either! Thanks to the talented Jenn Emerling of YEAH! weddings for sharing the images in the post.
These orange hues are kind of perfect for Santa Barbara aren’t they?
J + E turned to our A-list vendor YEAH! weddings team for photography, videography, their DJ, and photobooth. Julia says, We trusted in the internet and got lucky. I cannot speak highly enough about Jenn of YEAH! weddings! She’s fun, real, and goes with the flow. An absolute delight to work with! Wade Koch is super sweet, and was so complementary and happy to be a part of my wedding, which made me happy! He was great, and he made a killer video (see below!).
Planner + designer Rae & Moore and florist Stella Bloom sure make a good team.
We wanted people to have a mini vacation in a beautiful place and each of our guests to feel the sense of relaxation and excitement that only comes when in true vacation and felt that the sights, the culture, and the food of this incredible place would NOT disappoint. We let the architecture of the venue dictate the rest of the decor, and we chose a color palette that complemented the overall feel of outdoor California. The beauty of the Santa Barbara Historical Museum meant that less was more. It’s a timeless and visually enticing place, that’s centrally located. Most importantly, it was available!
Congratulations guys!
