Three things to know about Alanna + Rob: She wore a champagne sequin wedding gown that she designed herself; they skipped wedding cake and opted for candied bacon on a stick; and the two of them met on a volunteer trip to Kolkata, India. Sound like a pretty cool couple, yes? Their wedding was intentionally designed to be simple, relaxed, elegant, and (most of all) fun. And from the looks of these photos from Christine Lim Photography, it sure was…

A bouquet to rival all bouquets: peonies, spray roses, ranunculus, jasmine, ivy berries, and variegated ivy.

And a majorly pin-worthy mani.

Alanna says, Our officiant/pastor took Rob aside before the ceremony to pray with him, and afterwards he said, “This is going to be the most incredible day. It’s going to go past in the blink of an eye. Breathe deep and try to go as slow as you can.” Kevin whispered the same thing to me during the ceremony. It was something so simple, but so powerful to be reminded of. It helped us center ourselves and be present, and definitely was a defining moment.

A group of the couple’s closest friends provided the ceremony music. So meaningful, and a cost saver too!

Cheers, Alanna and Rob!
