Keeping with our theme of little somethin’ different this week, we present Laurin and Courtney’s post wedding portrait session.
They had a lovely vintage style wedding at an art gallery in Vancouver, but couldn’t get the photographers they wanted for their actual wedding day. Instead they booked them (Gucio Photography) for family shoot, in their wedding best, a few days later. And as a bonus, it was much less expensive than having their top photogs come shoot their entire wedding, while still allowing them to have beautiful photos of their celebration. Plus isn’t it fun to get all dressed up again, when you’re not frantic and stressed and all of that?
Laurin and Courtney are both vintage scooterists so they incorporated a 1960’s scooter into their shoot, which took place at their original venue with Laurin’s pretty paper tissue balls still hanging. To quote Laurin, “I love how some of the pictures are very contemporary and others look like they came straight out of 1965.”
Laurin wears a Jenny Yoo bridesmaid dress in white. And Courtney wears a tailored suit from London.
Gorgeous!! Thanks so much for sending your beautiful family and wedding our way, Laurin! We love every bit.
