Clean and modern SmogShoppe wedding: Kathryn + Chris

Los Angeles SmogShoppe wedding

We sure love seeing what our brides + grooms do to make Los Angeles venue SmogShoppe their own. K + C are locals (Kathryn owns Lundeen’s in Culver City), so they were all about giving their guests a peek at their modern LA aesethic, while keeping everything easygoing and warm. Shannen Natasha of The Wedding Artists Collective has all the photos below!

They enlisted Bash Please to streamline their modern vibe and give the industrial venue a softer, brighter feel to welcome 75 guests with. These two reccomend hiring a planner to help you design a flawless, stress-free wedding without getting overwhelmed with decisions. Agreed!

Our bride also said that having a few long tables totally helps with tricky seating assignments.

They carried the grey, white, lavender, and green color story throughout with tone on tone paint swipe paper goods and Carrara marble table numbers.

Kathryn’s fave moment… Our completely unplanned meet-and-greet before the wedding. We were running a little bit behind so we ended up mixing and mingling with our guests as they started rolling in. We looked at each other at one point and realized this is kind of hilarious. Exactly as fun and relaxed as we had hoped. Also, SmogShoppe has this amazing private area for the bride and groom, overlooking everything. After the ceremony, we were up there, spending a couple minutes up there, together, taking it all in.

K walked down to the aisle to a single guitar playing Alexi Murdoch’s All My Days and their first dance was to Gavin James’ version of Book Of Love.

Shoutout to Shannen Natasha, whose natural style was captured on both film + digital, for conveying K + C’s day so beautifully. Congrats, you two!
