It’s easy to think of a black and gold color palette as reserved exclusively for NYE parties, but Amber Lynn Photography + the ladies behind this shoot knew there wasn’t a better way to kick off a new year than with your love, so why not combine the two vibes? The romance of an intimate wedding paired with the glitz and the glam that is New Years? An unlikely combo with srsly gorgeous results…
They were inspired by blacks, gold, sparkles, and a little bubbly for the details. And a sultry mani to top it all off…
E-flowers whipped up the loveliest wild looking florals for the tabletop and bouquet to display alongside pinecones and gold décor.
Just peeking at the cobblestone exterior of one of the buildings at This is The Place Heritage Park, we can tell what a beauty this venue would be for those of you scouting Salt Lake City! Just a thought…
Sweet ‘n simple with a little bit of luxe.
Thanks to Amber Lynn for sending this shoot our way… Lots of details here for 2015 weddings!
Did you all catch our lovely breakfast in bed ideas yesterday? Yeah, we basically all have the same Valentine’s Day plan now! You’ve already seen our Crate and Barrel registry picks for a sweet dinner at home, and as promised, today we’re sharing just how we styled everything for a cozy morning. Be sure to take note of our registry favs noted below!
First thing to add to your registry, you must get your hands on the perfect bedding. If you’re dying for a nice new set, not exactly thrilled with your current bedding, or just want to treat yourselves, there really isn’t a better time. This Crate and Barrel throw is a silk and linen blend for cozying up in all morning long.
Onto the kitchenware. Amanda and Tim used a Cuisinart pizzelle pancake maker and a Breville juicer for their fresh morning meal. These ceramic egg cups and berry box colander are kinda perfect for transporting everything to and from the bedroom, yeah?
If you’ll be opting for a breakfast in bed this year, a few sleek wares and a large tray to carry it all will make your morning all the sweeter. You’ll for sure use all these pieces more than once, too, so it’s quite the guilt free date! If you haven’t yet, see how we styled everything you see above in this post.
Next month we’ll be sharing a glamorous cocktail engagement party in our series with Crate and Barrel. We can’t wait to share it with you all!
Good morning, lovelies! This Monday morning we’re super pumped to finally announce an exciting project we’ve been working on since last year. Our exclusive partnership with the Crate and Barrel Wedding & Gift Registry is official! We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with such creative people and we cannot wait to share all of the beautiful inspiration we have planned over the next six months. We hope you’ll follow along here and join us at our in-store Crate and Barrel Wedding Parties Event in April in Los Angeles!
We thought we’d start our series with a sweet and sexy Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed. Planning something together seems so much more special (and low stress!) that joining one million other lovebirds at busy restaurants around your city. Plus, what better way to use all the fun kitchen gadgets you registered for when you were married? Or if you’re planning your registry now, take note! Stocking your kitchen so you can entertain for every holiday, big or small, is a really fun idea.
Amanda just finished remodeling her kitchen, which made for a *perfect* spot to plan a beautiful homemade breakfast. Didja happen to catch the kitchen before + after on Instagram? It’s so good!
Naturally every girl needs a giant bunch of peonies. The more the better, we say.
The bright citrus colors and woodgrain accents in this breakfast scene inspired the florals and décor too – super romantic and unexpected.
Another fave? This non-stick pizzelle pancake maker FOR SURE. They are so thin and delicate and pretty. So perfect for special occasions or just a regular Sunday morning.
Srsly, how cute are they?
A pedestal is not just for cakes! Those pizzelle pancakes are too scrumptious not to display.
Once breakfast is prepared and you’ve retired back to your bedroom, you can share your dreamy love notes and little gifts over a cup of coffee and sweet treats.
Kind of obsessed with this gorgeous walnut tray, (a must for breakfast in bed!), plus it holds the egg cups, and Hatch glasses so perfectly. Don’t forget to think of little decor pieces like this when you’re building your registry. It’s a beautiful gift to give and something you’ll use often in your life together.
Valentine’s Day is a perfect occasion to invest in a new bedding collection and maybe even a few décor items. Who needs to splurge on a fancy night away when you can create a luxurious little setup right at home? It’s just practical, we say!
Such a pleasant way to kick off Valentine’s Day morning, whether you have an adventure on the agenda or a cozy afternoon left unplanned.
Check back tomorrow to see exactly how to get this look for your Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed! xoxo
