Romantic spring Prospect House wedding with a modern pastel palette

It’s always fun to see all the different designs couples pull off at venue that’s a blank slate like Prospect House in Texas. We’ve seen gorgeous jewel tones, pops of color, a natural palette of green + white, and of course, more color. You really can’t go wrong with a bright white space and pretty natural setting. Another example? Diana + Damian’s modern pastels, complete with dusty roses, sage greens, and lots of soft, romantic details. Scroll for more from Wild Sky Events and photographer Feather & Twine:

Diana says, My bouquet consisted of lush, loose, blooms filled gathering in shades of cream and blush with plenty of free flowing greenery accents. Big ruffled blooms layered with delicate textural elements and greenery accents.

Have you all seen the bridesmaids slip dress trend as of late? Gotta say, this is by far the best take on it we’ve seen. Diana simply showed her ‘maids the color palette of their flowers so that they could all choose their own hue and fit. Colors included moody blush, burgundy, forest green, and neutral tones.

On the venue… I knew I wanted to get married outside Houston—where we both live. We love Houston, but the venues did not fit with the style we wanted. I was browsing through Instagram and noted places down in the Austin area. We had scheduled two places to look at—Prospect House was our first. Upon walking into Prospect House, Damian and I looked at each other and we both knew… this was IT! Needless to say, we canceled the other walk-through and went with Prospect House. We loved the modern clean lines and the huge windows that open out to the beautiful hill country.

Wedding budget: Their initial budget was 55K, but it ended up being closer to 70K in the end. Diana had her own spreadsheets to keep organized, and Kate of Wild Sky Events and her team took care of the planning and design details based off of the vibe D + D were looking for (floral, romantic, and greenery).
