100 Layer Cake Best Of 2014: Bridal bouquets
We won’t be so bold as to say we saved the best for last, because how can one pick favorites among all the pretty wedding details here on the blog over the past few days? (You did see the 100 Layer Cake best of wedding dresses and cakes posts, yes?) But one things for sure: floral design got beyond creative this year, and these bridal bouquets prove it. There was silk ribbon and glitter. There were larger than life arrangements. There was foraged greenery and unlikely color stories. And it was all so, so good.
We loved how the team behind this soft fall wedding shoot showed us how blush tones can totally work in fall.
A mix of enormous peonies, spray roses, ranunculus, jasmine, ivy berries, and variegated ivy… Mega-swoon.
The gorgeous use of modern jewel tones in this shoot by Kayla Barker Fine Art Photography really blew everyone away! Sebesta Design srsly hit the nail on the head with the bouquet, don’t you think? See the whole feature here.
PS: That’s a backdrop of snow! You gotta see the white, wintry shoot.
Tell us we’ll see weddings as creative + beautiful as the ones we featured in 2014, and we’ll be completely satisfied. Thanks to all the talented folks who have shared their work with us over the past year! xo
