Including James Frost’s photography, Emma + Ross hired a grand total of three (yes, three) vendors to make their beautiful wedding come together. With a lovely creek-side farm that had been in Ross’s family for five generations as the venue, Emma designed all the invitations and paper goods herself, DIYed tons of décor, and family members pitched in with the catering, cake, flowers, and even the entertainment for the evening. Pretty impressive, yes?

Emma says, Our apartment is a great collection of things we both love. We have lots of antique and pre-loved pieces, but we also love modern design, and bright, bold colors. We wanted our wedding to feel like that too, tying together those old and new styles, with splashes of color that complemented the natural beauty of the farm.

Emma + Ross’s first dance was to “You and I” by Ingrid Michaelson.

Emma’s most memorable moment of the night…
The musical entertainment for the evening was a mix of our friends coming together to play in a band. They were amazing! And a tear may have fallen when my friend Jess accompanied by Ross’s brothers Andrew and Matt played “Won’t Give In” by the Finn Brothers. But toward the end of the night, the iPod kicked in and the classic Aussie rock song “Eagle Rock” by Daddy Cool came on, bringing the dance floor to life! In true Aussie tradition, boys from all corners of the farm flocked to the dance floor to drop their pants, and dance around wildly in their underpants for three minutes. Hilarious.

Such a funny story and a beautiful wedding too. Cheers, Emma + Ross!
