Oregon camp wedding: Sage + Thomas
There’s something to be said about the camp wedding. An entire weekend of outdoor activities with friends & family sounds nice, right? Sage + Thomas had their guests camp out at Camp Lane near Florence, Oregon (with no cell phone service). Folks stayed in tree houses, lean-tos, yurts, an A-frame or came ready with their own tent. Leah Verwey showed up the morning of the wedding to photograph and everyone was hanging out in their casual clothes, playing games and drinking out of their designated weekend mason jar. The day turned from formal ceremony & dinner, and then retreated back to casual camp dancing and fire pit gazing. Ah.. so perfect for the spring and summer months…
Guests got creative with the “build your own corsage” table and even created cute floral crowns to wear throughout the ceremony & reception.
Does anyone else remember making these yarn crosses as kids? We’re loving it as wedding decor.

I love this wedding! It was my dream to get married at camp, but it wasn't meant to be. I like to imagine that it would have looked a little something like this though.

Loved the rich browns and greens, and those vibrant floral crowns which were so appropriate for the location. The dangling ceiling decorations in the rustic lodge really added a sense of magic and beauty. Great pics!

Hello your wedding looks so fun, unique and beautiful! I am looking at camp lane for our wedding venue and the only weekend they have open is the first weekend of June. I am concerned about rain and was wondering when your wedding was? thank you so much!
