Ohh these two are a fun bunch. They had a caravan of pedicabs take their entire bridal party from the ceremony to the reception, had guests sit on blankets and picnic during their ceremony, gifted custom designed beer pints and vintage plates to guests, and finished the day off with a Seattle staple – Top Pot donuts. On top of that, Andrea sewed napkins, Tyson built the branch chandelier at their reception, and they sourced their food and flowers locally in an effort to keep their party as green as possible. We can only imagine how much fun One Love Photo had following these two lovebirds around.

In the midst of all the last minute details, I actually elected to not carry a bridal bouquet. To me, it was a detail that didn’t seem critical. The afternoon before the wedding my matron of honor caught wind of this and simply wouldn’t have it. She zipped down to Pike Place Market, picked up 4-5 random seasonal flower bouquets and arranged an incredible bouquet for me as well as corresponding mini bouquets for the bridesmaids. It was magic. Dahlias and Chrysanthemums in various colors as well as a few branches for texture.

The tunes: Andrea walked down the aisle to ‘Harvest Moon’ by Neil Young, they both exited the ceremony to ‘Golden’ by My Morning Jacket, and their first dance was to ‘Into The Mystic’ by Van Morrison.

Finding a dress was difficult for me because I wanted something really unique but I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars. In the end, the quilted dress I found at Belltown Bride was the perfect hybrid of classic with a twist of odd. My experience was similar to when I go shopping for vintage clothing where so often a dress looks terrible on the hanger but if you just give it a chance, and try it on, it comes to life. The quilted dress was nothing short of bizarre on the hanger. When I put it on I smiled in delight.

Fun little fact from One Love Photo – they loved the above image of their doughnut bar so much that they painted a 30×30 canvas inspired from it and now have it hanging in their dining room!

Their custom designed beer glasses also acted as favors.

If we were in Seattle we’d nix the wedding cake and go for a Top Pot Doughnut bar too!

Congrats Andrea + Tyson!
