Besides the fact that we love us a Palm Springs wedding, we can never shy ourselves away from sharing a wedding shot by the oh-so-lovely Sarah Yates. This one is an all-around beauty y’all, complete with perfect lighting, succulents, and the best fashion accessories ever!
We’ll give you a moment to get all your giddy little giggles out of your system – yes, we’re dying too. There’s no denying Karen had it going on with her Christos gown, Bijoux Heart necklace, and Christian Louboutin pumps.
A reception at the Ace Hotel with the sun setting as it starts to hit a sexy 80 degrees is a match made in desert wedding heaven.
Creating these cute little favors can be time consuming, fun, and SO worth it (plus once they’re all finished they look crazy adorable all sitting next to each other waiting to be given out on your big day). Arm yourself with the succulent of your choice, sand, small terra cotta planters, chalkboard paint and bits of chalk or chalk ink and you too can make these.
Tip: The California Cactus Center in Pasadena is definitely worth checking out if you’re in or around the Los Angeles area. Karen scored all of her succulents from this cute little family-owned nursery.

I happened to be at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs the weekend of this wedding and was blown away by the how insanely zen Karen was- I took a picture of her that weekend and it is so nice to hear more about this lovely couple and their fab wedding.
