Palm Springs wedding: Lilia + Ryan

June 2, 2011

Palm Springs + the Parker + perfect weather + gold foil invites + Jonathan Adler bud vases (as favors!) = Lilia & Ryan’s Best Day Ever! This one is oozing with goodies, cakelets!

At the beginning stages of their planning one thing was certain: they were going to make their wedding the Best Day Ever. With that phrase in mind, they branded every detail seamlessly to create a wedding that reflected their style and personality. It’s not hard to see that this couple has the personality to throw one heck of a wedding, right?

The peacock and gold not only look crazy good together, but are so Palm Springs – LOVE! Imagine getting one of these gold foil + letterpress + hand edging + dual side printed + duplexed card stocked invites in the mail. Wow. We love a couple that splurges on building the perfect wedding suite!

Having a close family member officiate your ceremony is the best way to create a personal and genuine moment not only for you, but for all guests attending. Adding to the special touches of their day, having Ryan’s father serve as the officiant couldn’t have been a more perfect choice.

Here’s our favorite part of the wedding (something we’ve never seen done before, and quite genius). Before taking their seats, guests arrived at the “place card table”, except this wasn’t your usual place card. Oh no, no. Upon first arrival the table could be mistaken for a field of wild flowers, but looking closer, you’d see tags with each guests’ name tied around Jonathan Adler Bud Vases.  That’s not even the best part. Each table sat lonely with a centerpiece consisting of just one small bouquet of flowers – the rest of the centerpiece was to be completed when guests took their bud place card vases to surround the single bouquet in the center!

Dance party USA was brought to the dance floor, so much so that at one point during this boogying Ryan turned to Lilia and told her to look away from the dance floor and to the tables – they were completely empty! Every single person was throwing down (including four wedding crashers). It was then that they realized they succeeded in throwing the Best Party Ever. What a lovely end to a perfect day. Congrats Lilia & Ryan!
