This past spring Scott and Jillian visited Playa del Carmen where Scott photographed dear friends Becky and Bob’s wedding. Before the ceremony J & S scouted locations to do a portrait session and found this ultra hip hotel, Hotel Basico. If you’re thinking of visiting the area we strongly suggest you think about lounging at this hot spot. Or, maybe just stop by for a few good pics! Great views, super comfy, recycled tire flooring and big industrial tanks as pools (reminiscent of old water parks and the Mexican petroleum industry), make this place very well designed.
And most importantly, Becky and Bob’s style fit this hotel perfectly. Check out their hip lil sesh!

Beautiful shots and wedding, but I am not going for the ‘overexposed’ style photos. The detailing in her dress is gone and the very attractive couple blends in with the background.
