From the team at Balancing BalloonsThe day began with our beautiful bride, Rachel, being pampered for hair and makeup. The bridal suite was lofted above the ceremony space providing Rachel with a view of all her details coming together through the day while simultaneously enjoying her own peaceful moments before the ceremony. Vintage tufted seating and an antique mirror provided a romantic and relaxed space for Rachel. Her groom, Johnny, had his own moment to be pampered while Rachel relaxed with her maid of honor. The two of them led each other down the stairs to their ceremony space. Johnny and Rachel were beaming as they joined their family and friends for their ceremony.

The wedding venue was romantically lit with candles abound and cozied with rugs, piles of pillows, and posh seating. A classic holiday touch of red and green led the color scheme, accompanied with touches of navy and gold. Located in the Pacific Northwest, we are surrounded with ample amounts of evergreens year round, so true to the holiday season, we brought the outdoors in… Married under evergreen boughs and surrounded by family and friends, the PNW winter was reflected throughout the ceremony space.

And the cedar garlands draped over the altar created a subtle aroma that alluded to the familiarity and warmth of the holidays.
