With dreams of faraway travel meandering in our minds this time of year (and said travel being out of our reach due to, ahem, the current state of things), we’re bringing the escape to you via this Lake Como wedding inspo from Valentina Oprandi and Chiara Briccola today. “Poetic Dream on Lake Como”
We slowly enter a fairy world, where the bond with nature conveys us a tender sensation of harmony and love.The light of Lake Como wraps us in a tender hug and the first sparkling spring air accompanies us on a boat trip to our wonderful private location, perfect for an intimate wedding.
The amazing view of Lake Como surrounded by mountains is the breathtaking shooting backdrop, and the asymmetric dry floral installation, with lunaria and pampas grass, produces a magical translucent atmosphere.
The blue of the lake, the sky and the infinity pool, the gray of the local stones, the brown of the wood, the beige of the dry grasses and the white with a touch of gold that reflects the sun rays are the colors we have chosen.”
We’re very into this graceful altar by The Garden of Love, created with pampas, lunaria, miscanthus, lagurus and other wild grasses.
And the touch of narcissus in this bouquet is just perfect.
