Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for beginner blog writers? I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for this! I had wanted to make a birdcage veil but was having a hard time finding the large netting and was stuck about what to do. This tutorial is a great reminder that there are no rules when it comes to DIY! Love the result.

Hi Shana, Thanks for your interest in the Veil...I love the idea of doing two different ones for ceremony vs reception. You've gotta shake things up. The dress that Nicole is wearing came from Claire Pettibone, one of my favorite designers. www.clairepettibone.com

I have been looking high and low, trying to find a DIY pattern for my veil. My future Mother In Law gave me her old veil and I wanted to convert it into 2 veils, one for the ceremony and a shorter one for the reception. ** Also, on a side note, that dress is STUNNING! May I ask who's the designer? **

What a great idea. And how special to wear something you custom-made for yourself on the big day. This one is going into the bookmarks for sure.

I'm going to add this to the list of things I'd do if I got married all over again! I think, though, that you mean tulle instead of toile (just in case ladies are searching for it online)...
