A charming floral & fauna wedding: Kelsey + Jake

Categories   Real Weddings

Well here we are, our very first Real Wedding of 2011! Lucky for you, it’s especially scrumptious, the perfect little dose of cheer for the New Year.

Like most nearly-wed couples, Kelsey and Jake wanted their bash to be distinctly “them” – filled with all kinds of genuine details that drew attention to what is most important – their unique personalities and their love for each other. Keeping things on the thrifty side was also a must, but that was made super easy thanks to the help of family & friends and of course, Kelsey’s natural talents as an art director and crafter extraordinaire.

What a striking couple. Aren’t the bouquets just the best? So original and pretty. Love the dresses, too.

The vintage tabletop finds are sooo great, almost as fabulous as the animal art paintings that were used as table numbers. What a creative (and cuuute) idea!

Hand-drawn place mats? Totally quirky and cute.

We love it all! Thanks to Kelsey & Jake for letting us share their radiant and charming celebration, and of course – congrats!

P.S. If you want more of Kelsey & Jake’s celebration, you must watch their wedding video!

I loved your wedding video (in addition to all of your gorgeous and unique details.) I would love to get in touch with Eduardo, the videographer, as I am getting married this summer in the Twin Cities, but I can't seem to find his contact info. Does anyone know how to get in touch with him? Thanks! Jennelle, [email protected]

Kelsey and Jake's wedding was one of the most unique I've seen in a long while. The couple is so clearly in love, and that shone through in every detail. Thanks so much for sharing! - Ashley, Dress My Cupcake (http://www.dressmycupcake.com)

The fans are great. I'm also wondering where to find the placemats- did the couple really make these, or can they be purchased somewhere? Anyone know?

I have been surfing on-line more than three hours as of late, yet I never found any fascinating article like yours I’ve desired to write something similar to this on my webpage and this has given me a concept. Cheers.
