Maybe it’s about the foliage being stunning this time of the year, with the leaves changing into yellows, oranges, and reds, and falling onto the ground, autumn is without a doubt the most beautiful time of year to have an outdoor wedding ceremony on a mountainous locale. Also, there are so many flowers to choose from, varying from rich reds, deep burgundies, golds, plums, and oranges to different tones of greenery—so many opportunities to play with in terms of texture, volume, and richness! Our florals represented how delicate the change of season is, yet how inspiring all those autumnal colors are for a wedding day. The glorious wedding arch overlooking the stunning forest that surrounds the beautiful venue was a masterpiece set in colors of the season—perfect for autumnal smooching in the brisk mountain air.
The table amongst the pine trees was set in an alfresco way that highlighted the abundance of the season in products of Greece. We incorporated seasonal favorites such as pumpkin, pears, grapes, apples, and local treats that set the tone perfectly and the bright yet deeper shades of the florals created wonderful focal points on the wooden table. To make it all a tad comfier? Faux fur and cozy blankets!
