When photog Ether & Smith captured this editorial planned by Providence & Planning, they had a specific couple in mind: those hopeless romantics who want a minimal wedding that still comes off as original and inventive. Obvs, we thought of so many of our brides-to-be! A minimal wedding isn’t so much about opting out of details, as it is opting in to a few things that you really, really want, you know? And if what you want is an ethereal scene with celestial inspired accents and candles and blooms everywhere, you’re definitely in luck.
The shoot took place at The Modern in Long Beach, which you might’ve seen pop up here on the blog before. Always so neat to see what different people do with one space!
Feeling so smitten with good paper pretties lately (even more than before, we mean), like this lovely suite by The Wells Makery.
With white, black, and blue as the main colors and a pinch of metallic tones sprinkled throughout, this modern aesthetic mixed with organic and fluid textures was perfect set among a clean venue with floor to ceiling windows and concrete floors. The bride balanced out the minimal venue with an opulent and detailed high neck long sleeved lace dress and darker tones florals.
Sure love seeing that flicker of candlelight in the background. So romantic!
For the tablescape, a solid and grand marble table lined with candles added the perfect mood and warmth to all the cool tones, everything was balanced off with fluttery napkins draped loosely over the edge and delicate transparent utensils and glassware.Naturae Design always dreams up something swoon-worthy when it comes to bridal hair accessories.
Who else is head over heels for the whole celestial-inspired wedding concept? Thanks to the talented crew below for all this mega dose of dreaminess…
