Guys, the rehearsal dinner totally deserves a little more love, doesn’t it? To La Lune Events mentioned they wanted to highlight it and other special gatherings like the engagement party and bridal shower and it makes complete sense: there’s so much more to an engagement than the wedding day itself, and the times a couple gets to spend with fam and friends in celebration are some of the best. Of course a gorgeous design + talented photog like Jen Wojcik there to document it are a maaaajor bonus…
Black + marble always makes for the chicest scene.
The inspiration from To La Lune Events: This is an evening to be celebrated with the closest of family + friends whose relationships truly shape the couple they are there to celebrate. Selecting a rehearsal dinner location that evokes an intimate atmosphere is the perfect starting point. Bencotto Italian Kitchen in Little Italy, San Diego is known for this. Their crisp modern interior set the perfect stage to accentuate the romantic minimalist event design. With this idea of being shaped by those we love, we chose to incorporate a variety of shaped details throughout the tabletop design. One of our all time favorite elements being the cubed pyrite guest favors!
Fave details from the team… AKA a recipe for a super stunning modern dinner party:
• Pyrite cube guest favors
• Copper scripted napkin ring place cards
• Hand crafted table runner
• Mix ‘n match paper elements
• Overly lush + textured centerpiece
• Copper scripted “You Shape Us” & “You Shape Me” love notes

• Copper scripted “wifey” + “hubby” coasters
