Alright, it’s story time, guys: Erica + Braden met in 2010 and would take turns traveling to visit each other while Braden attended the West Point Military Academy and Erica began her fashion career in NYC. The academy was a meaningful place for them, and the perfect spot to get formal shots of B in uniform. So they grabbed photog Julie Pepin and revisited his alma mater. Julie says it looked cinematic: Maybe it was her dress and his uniform and the crazy love that they have between them that made me feel like I was photographing two characters out of some timeless love story from 50 years ago. Or maybe it was the surreal natural beauty and landscape that is West Point with its historic buildings and amazing views of the Hudson.

Erica came across Julie’s work while searching thousands of NYC wedding photos. She couldn’t get over this one dreamy image she found, so they booked her right away for the wedding and an e-sesh. Well, those photos were pretty dreamy, don’t you agree?
