It’s Monday, it’s August, we say it’s 100% okay to spend our day marveling over pretty tablescapes and inspiring blooms like those Forever Photography Studio captured at Pinto Canyon in West Texas with lots of details sourced right nearby in Marfa. Terracotta inspired all the earth toned, toffee, mauve-y goodness that matched their surroundings, and we were so inspired that we’ve even got a follow up post on this color palette for you later this morn’. But first, more Texas wedding ideas…

Cara of Open Road Florals dreamt up the dusty-hued floral arrangements and bouquets inspired by Pinto Canyon.

Cara explains, The entire shoot was inspired by the landscape of West Texas. In the summer months, the ocotillo are green and blooming down in Pinto Canyon. Floral colors were inspired by sunset drives down pinto canyon road and feature roses from Rose Story Farm. West Texas is a dry desert landscape, so it’s nice to see the softness of the florals against the rugged backdrop.

Any brides out there on the hunt for that perfect taper candle? The toffee-colored taper candles came from Yummi Candles, who just so happens to have candles in a zillion stunning shades and sizes.
