When you’ve built your relationship off of world travels, it’s only natural that you’d choose a place as amazing as Bali to say I Do. Ravi and Sari met on the west coast, and after two years of dating they put all their stuff in storage, quit their jobs, and traveled the globe together. One year after that, Ravi proposed on a rooftop in Bangkok, and their next adventure was planning a destination wedding in Bali. Staying true to the lush island vibe, they worked with Hitch’d Bali and Sandat Floral to create a magical setting full of bright tropical blooms and greenery (just wait until you see their dreamy floral-filled reception!), and outffited their wedding party in jewel tones. Thanks to Terralogical for sharing these photos!

And did we mention it has *three* pools? Yes, please!

We see so many Rue De Seine gowns in editorials here at 100LC, that it’s always so fun to see a *real* bride rocking these gorgeous designs! So pretty, Sari!

Obsessed with this groom’s look for a destination wedding! He had his suit custom made in the most beautiful teal linen, that he designed himself.

Sari tells it, We both come from an Indian background, so we wanted to bring the bright, colorful ethos of our culture to our celebration. Bali has always felt like a magical place to us—a wonderland—so we wanted to recreate that magic for our guests as this was the first time most of them had been to Bali. Our theme was “where the jungle meets the sea”—recreating the lush jungles of Indonesia with the ocean-front venue.

Aren’t Ravi’s Nisolo shoes perfect, too? Love this couple’s style!

Luckily, R + S were able to visit Bali once during their engagement, so they could meet with their vendors and decide on their venue.

Did we mention that while they were taking sunset portraits in the fields a snake slithered over Sari’s Jimmy Choo’s? Haha!

Oh, and those amazing reception florals we were talking about? Right this way…

They wanted to emulate the lush scenery that surrounded them in Bali, and they sure pulled it off.

We let Bali be our guide for the wedding style. It’s hot, tropical and lush, and we tried to recreate that in our décor. We chose a green as the primary color as we felt it would suit the very different coloring of our wedding party. I knew I wanted something boho and easy to wear—I planned to dance the night away. Rue De Seine is a natural choice for that boho look and the second I tried that dress on, I knew it was the one. Ravi’s linen suit was custom made—he has his own clothing line so it was easy for him to design. The jacked was lined with electric floral, and he had his initials and our wedding date embroidered on the inside.

On sticking to their wedding budget… We created a list of things that was most important to us, and ensured that we focused our budget on that. Everything else was negotiable. We also focused on the elements that would ensure our guests had a good time. Food and drink, as well as the music, topped the list and we simplified the table settings and some of the décor. We realized our favorite weddings were the ones where the couple were relaxed, the food was good, the drink plentiful and the dance floor pumping!

Such a fun, stylish take on tropical! Cheers, you two!
