Holiday Cocktail recipe

When someone asks if we’d like to take a peek at not one or two but TWELVE cocktail recipes, that’s one pitch we can’t ignore. Hello. So, 12 Days of Cocktails it is! The gals over at The Roc Shop teamed up with cocktail pros Please & Thank You for the launch of their new line of holiday bar adornments (like this rad drink stirrer + coaster combo) and what better way to flaunt the new collection than with a libation… or 12? Be sure to check back daily for a new recipe styled by Layered Vintage + photos by Plum + Oak Photography. Now, onto day one. Thanks to Stephen of P&TY for showing us how it’s done!

Instructions

In a small pot, combine the fresh lemon juice, spiced apple cordial (see below!)*, and spiced apple cider, and slowly bring to a simmer over low heat. Simmer for 10 minutes or until hot (do not boil). Remove from heat and add rye and applejack. Garnish each with a cinnamon stick, star anise, and lemon wedge, and serve!
