Did you hear about the Urbanic anniversary party we shared on Instagram last month? We’re soo excited to finally share the entire recap, genius paper flower photo wall ‘n all (just you wait!). Audrey + her shop have been such an inspiration to all of us here at 100LC over the years, and as expected, the bash she threw with the amazing team at Gather Events for the big 1-0 was just as spectacular.
They gave out Urbanic ‘boxes of sunshine’ (and gave a few away on Insta too.) So fun!
Audrey says, Celebrating 10 years on Abbot Kinney Blvd was a true milestone for us. Over this last decade we have been so appreciative of the love and support of our customers, designers, friends and fans that have journeyed with us along the way. Without all of these very important people we couldn’t be where we are today, so we wanted to host our loveliest party yet as a ‘thank you’ for the 10 years of small business support and also as a ‘cheers’ to hopefully many more.
A + A working that photo booth! More info on those paper flowers below…
The paper flowers were a true labor of love. (“Labor” is the key word here! Some of them literally took 15 minutes each, and we made 100s!) Let’s just say there were countless hours of living room flower-making-pizza-parties amongst the Urbanic girls and the Gather Events team. They came out more beautiful than ever anticipated so obviously I had to bomb my car with them! The vision here was to dress up the party with flowers everywhere and to also create a DIY area for people to craft while socializing and to be able create their own flower accessory of either a broach, corsage, or hairpin to wear at the party.

Urbanic also released their first batch of candles at the party that night—and even more products (and hopefully more retail locations!) are in the works. We can’t wait!
