Intimate spring wedding in Montenegro: Olga + Max
Max + Olga’s Montenegro wedding is giving us a serious case of wanderlust over here, guys. Photographer Sonya Khegay was also behind the floral design, and they all worked together to create the perfect atmosphere for a cozy, intimate celebration with just nine guests.
Olga’s gown was custom made, the invitations were DIY, and the bride + groom did all the planning.
Olga tells it, Last autumn we moved to Montenegro to live there for a while and celebrate our wedding. We’ve always dreamed about a small and cozy one with only our family and closest friends, and that day had come. The thrill and excitement filled me. I was so nervous waiting for Maxim in the room. I remember how he lifted the veil—I will never forget his eyes, full of happiness and love. He was telling me some funny stories during the walk that made me laugh, and later, at the ceremony, I was so touched by Max’s vow that I forgot my own speech!
Don’t even need to ask why these chose Eco Hotel Carrubba in Tivat to say I Do. The dream!
David Austin roses, peonies, and tulips made up the springy florals. What else do ya need?
I was really worried about everything before the wedding, but it turned out to be cozy and warm—just like we wanted. We are so grateful to Sonya and her husband who helped us and created that atmosphere. Today I remember that day with a smile because for us it was the best one, yet.
Congratulations to Olga + Max!
