Retro geometric wedding inspiration

Any artist or designer will tell you that it’s actually super helpful to work with constraints. It’s fun to run wild with an idea, but whether it’s a tight budget or a color palette, working within boundaries can make you more creative. Courtney of Organized Styles designed a retro vignette to show how to get creative with an industrial space + geometric theme. (Really, how’s the cake for an example?) Thanks to Maple and Elm Photography for sharing!

We couldn’t forget that rad backdrop from earlier this month.

Shauna of Maple and Elm Photography tells it, From the jumpsuits with geo design, to the Hostess Haven tabletop, Courtney achieved the geometric theme throughout the whole shoot. We added touches of retro such as the rentals from Witty Rentals and some awesome gold and white glassware.

The bride’s dress from The Dress Theory was simple, yet had a “V’ front and back that tied in with our geo theme. Lastly, we used UNCVRD Jewelry for the bridesmaids and bride that is unique and yet purposeful. This would be a perfect gift for a bride to give to her maids. Plus, 40% of all sales goes to fight against human trafficking.

Related note: Those Anthro ensembles sure have us in a jumpsuit kinda mood…

In the end, no matter the constraint, you CAN totally plan a wedding that reflects you 100%. Thanks to everyone who proved that today.
