Destination Sayulita, Mexico wedding: Chantel + Eric

Beach wedding portrait

Destination weddings are always such a treat, but with a bright, fun, and beachy Pinterest board like Chantel’s, we were quickly smitten with her + Eric’s Mexico wedding style. You can already see their vibe coming through just from laying eyes on this initial shot of her lace trumpet dress and his rad blue suit. Thanks to Taryn Baxter for providing all the photos we’re sharing.

On the venue, c/o Chantel… I initially spotted Villa Del Oso online and I had a gut feeling it was going to be IT, however, Eric was leaning towards a different venue. When Courtney of Sunset Soiree took us around to tour venues, Villa del Oso was our last stop. Once we both walked out onto the property, we were speechless. It was so beautiful and even impressed us even more in person than how it looked in pictures online. I actually had chills the moment I stepped onto the property and knew that Villa del Oso was where we were going to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends. Eric was in full agreement as well.

Don’t you love all the details Taryn captured? Their original photog was put on bed rest two weeks before the big day and immediately lined up Taryn to replace her. Not only did it all work out, they would have never found her if it weren’t for this last minute change.

Cheers to the happy couple!
