Mediterranean wedding inspiration
The Pinewood Estate at Bok Tower Gardens in Central Florida is the epitome of Mediterranean-inspired elegance. The team knew right away that the 1930s mansion would inspire their entire wedding design, while the nearby octagon-shaped garden would be especially ideal for a ceremony. With the venue as a muse, geometric shapes, earth tones, and a lush green landscape became the basis for photog Tiffani Jones + Lisa of Wish Vintage Rentals’ Mediterranean vibes.
They imagined their bride as part of this family estate, channeling someone who appreciates tradition but isn’t afraid to embrace individuality.
Knowing that our bride would not have settled for a look that was just like everybody else’s, we were grateful to The Dress Theory in Nashville for allowing us to showcase the spectacular Rue de Seine’s ‘Colette’ gown. Its classic style but still unique shape and colors couldn’t have been more perfect for the shoot. I completely love how the custom-made veil by Olivia Gray and hair and make up from Brie & Brie complete our bridal look with a pure simplicity reminiscent of the 1930s.
The backdrop that inspired it all.
They used terracotta tiles nestled in greenery for escort cards…
…displayed on maybe the most amaze bar cart ever.
