A styled shoot inspired by cakes? We’ll take it, and then some! Photog Esther Sun had a vision for a spring-themed shoot influenced by patterns in a certain vintage wallpaper, which naturally led to cakes to resemble the warmth of spring. Milieu Florals brought that dream to life with earthy accents and M Cakes Sweets whipped up the cakes to match. So much deliciousness wrapped into one photo shoot, right?
Raw Naked Cake
A moist vanilla bean cake with hibiscus rosewater butter cream and hibiscus custard. Dressed with a lush peony bloom, jasmine vines, dusty miller, and fresh berries.
The amaranthus is just the *perfect* little detail, isnt’ it?
Romantic Rose Cake
A white cake with rosemary butter cream. Adorned with an O’hara garden rose, Juliet garden rose, peach parrot tulip, waxflower, jasmine vines, green hanging amaranthus, and greens.
Rustic Green Cake
A buttermilk cake with lemon curd, goat cheese and thyme butter cream. Topped with chamomile blooms, green hanging amaranthus, pieris japonica, willow, and seeded eucalyptus.
