New England brides, here’s a venue to put on your radar: Mill No. 5. Chhavy Sinuon of Style This Shindig says it’s quite the gem in Lowell, MA. The deets: It’s a textile mill building that’s being revived as a mixed-use space. They’re rebuilding with salvaged materials like a door from Dr. Suess’ house and over 400 year-old German façade (older than the US, can you believe it?!).
The fab venue + loads of bright, modern wedding inspo to follow… Thanks to Sitha Vorn, Narin Sinuon + Chhavy for all the pics below!
Ah, acrylic chairs (!!) in the chicest silhouette, too.
Lush and green, with an urban sophistication.
Chhavy suggests bringing elements from life as a couple, like souvenirs, into the wedding theme. Also, use props from the big day in your home together afterward. Perfect, yes?
Braids, ribbons, flowers, tulle… a recipe for a gorgeous bridal look.
Lowell is a city of happy, resilient, and resourceful people with a story full of ups and downs. To show a piece of that, we chose the venue Mill No.5. It’s a great venue that reflects an aspect of where Lowell is today and where we want to be in the future.
Thanks for the great shoot, Chhavy + team!
