Yeah, we’re pretty spoiled living in Southern Cali. But hey, at least we never forget it or take it for granted. Instead, we thank our lucky stars everyday for the year-round sunshine, sandy beaches, and beautiful wedding venues nestled in the rolling hills of the Santa Monica Mountains. Shannon + Marcus chose one of those hidden gem spots for their elegant yet relaxed soiree. With glorious old oak trees and scenic views as the backdrop, RomaBea Images was able to capture some really magical moments.

Shannon says, We wanted the quintessential California wedding for all of our out-of-town visitors: outdoors with a mellow vibe, local wines and spirits, gourmet yet familiar foods, and an inviting atmosphere.

  1. It’s wonderful!!! I’m so curious with the beverage. What is it please?

  2. Any idea of whether the lace jacket was also Essense of Australia or where it could be purchased seperately?

  3. Thank you so much 100 Layer Cake, for the beautiful feature of Shannon & Marcus’ wedding! xoxo

  4. VoyageNoce, the one pictured here is actually a Tomato Bisque I believe, served in a shot glass as an aperitif.

Their signature cocktails were; Bride’s choice, Moscow Mule and the Groom’s choice, Tequila Sunrise.

  5. Yes, Bea is right – it was a tomato bisque shooter, served with a grilled cheese dipper :)

Allison, the lace jacket is not Essence of Australia – it was purchased separately, also at Pebbles Bridal!

Thank you for the beautiful feature!

  6. That outdoor spot with the chandelier above is perfect. Beautiful wedding!

  7. The outdoor area with the chandelier above is an awesome idea.
