Balloon engagement shoot

February 7, 2014

Kristy of Blush Wedding Photography had dream clients. Yvonne + Danny wanted their engagement shoot to have lots of balloons. Like LOTS of them. So, Kristy did the only thing there was to do. She ordered over 200 balloons and filled her studio floor to ceiling with them. The end result was a happy couple with some majorly cute photos!

This time around, we get to hear the engagement story from the groom-to-be!

I proposed 18 months from our first date. It was christmas eve, so I had a friend dress up as Santa Claus and deliver a gift to her at home. Inside the box was 18 envelopes because that was the number of months we’ve been dating, each envelope was marked 1 to 18, inside each envelope was something that meant something to us, she opened each envelope one by one and at the bottom of the box number 1 was the engagement ring, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me, she said “yes”, as more tears than the entire Pacific Ocean streamed down my face.  I had planned to secretly record her opening each envelope one by one but the memory card ran out of memory at envelope 7, but envelopes 6 to 1, we will remember that moment forever.

So sweet! Good luck with the planning you two, and hope there are balloons involved in the wedding!
