Before we switch into weekend mode, we have a pretty engagement sesh from Seattle wedding photographers, Jinda Photography, to share with y’all. The groom-to-be is a soft spoken, handsome gentleman named Kwok To, that used the line, “Can I buy you a drink?.” The bride-to-be is a beautiful, totally in love lady named, Chi Truong, who denied his pick up line initially. But as you’ll read in their love story, she changed her mind for that drink after all.

Kwok and I met with the typical guy line “Can I buy you a drink?” I kindly denied. As the night went on we somehow crossed paths again through the crowd as he reached for me with persistence and kindly offered again. I quickly glanced up not realizing how I could have missed such a handsome, soft spoken gentleman. I nodded yes as he guided me to two empty seats where we talked for hours as if there were no one around us.

On our first date he suggested Korean BBQ buffet, after hours of great conversation we took a stroll out on the Des Moines Marina smelling like Bulgogi and Kim Chee. At this point we both knew that this was it for the both of us. We didn’t want the night to end and it never did. Kwok and I have not gone a day without speaking to each other ever since!!!! One Sunday morning, 8 months later, Kwok suggested we have brunch. We were headed over to the Des Moines Marina again where i assumed that Kwok wanted the buffet brunch (he loves buffets). Because the restaurant was still closed we took a walk down memory lane as we sat on the bench watching the early morning seagulls. It was the perfect moment as he stood up and nervously reached into his pocket and pulled out the box. The place where we both looked at each other and knew this was where it all happened.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
