Did you see the Bohemian Art Deco wedding inspiration post from this morning? (Yeah, we were dying over that dress too). We were also loving the geometric table runner that Stephanie Collins made for the shoot and knew y’all would want to know how to make it, so here you go! Play around with paint colors and shapes and you’ll have one snazzy looking table runner come all those outdoor summer dinner parties, yes?

Materials (total cost $20.04 and we had enough materials to make three 108″ table runners):

Fabric (we used 3 yards of simple muslin at $1.99 yard)
Small foam roller and paint tray ($6.97)
Fabric paint ($5.93)
Peel and stick vinyl floor tile (3 at $0.39 ea.)
Scissors

Instructions:

1) Cut fabric into table runner and finish edges (or use pre-made table runner)
2) Cut vinyl tiles into desired shapes (we went with fun geometric shapes that were cut without templates)
3) Roll fabric paint directly onto vinyl tiles
4) Press paint side of tile down onto fabric (we just made up the design as we went)
5) Lift tile carefully
6) Repeat with same shape or others as desired
7) Let dry
8) Iron paint to set
