We’re coming full circle with Tauri + Dylan. Remember last July when we featured their incredibly sweet engagement photos & video? Their story tugged at our heartstrings like crazy, and honestly, we could not wait for their wedding especially knowing Ciara Richardson was going to photograph it and Digital Memorys was going to capture it all on video. Lots to see, so let’s jump right into it, shall we?

Tauri’s bridal bouquet recipe: Peonies, ranunculus, roses.

Let’s talk about this dress! Tauri’s mother made it. Each vintage lace applique and bead was hand-stitched to the lace body of the top. The skirt is layers upon layers of different shades of delicate vintage tulle to match the top. A portion of her mother’s wedding dress, that she also made, was stitched to the inside of the skirt. Tauri didn’t know she was going to do that until she put the dress on for the ceremony. She could feel it on her leg as she stepped inside the skirt and knew immediately what it was and both cried.

My favorite memory of the day was eeing Dyl’s face for the first time that day when walking down the aisle with my Dad. The whole day leading up to that point had been so tense. I wasn’t used to making decisions about the wedding without him and I just missed him so much. But the second I saw his face, everything was perfect and nothing else but him mattered. I’ll never forget that feeling.

All of the vases and jars for the flowers were collected and spray painted or wrapped in twine/yarn by the couple.

Their music: Tauri walked down the aisle to Somewhere Over the Rainbow, their first dance song was Green Eyes by Coldplay.

So happy we could share their beautiful wedding. Congrats Tauri + Dylan!
