Vintage stamps and letterpress invites is always a good way to start off a pretty wedding, no? Brianna + Doug are a fun couple. They’re beer enthusiasts, part owners of a brewing company, and lovers of design & pretty paper. As the co-owner of a new stationery business, it was important that Brianna be very hands on with all the graphic details. It started out with the invitation suites, the gorgeous script and sweet little bird holding a ribbon, and it just took off from there… from napkins to posters, escort cards to large banners.

Brianna loves the look of bringing indoor furniture and accents outdoors, so they incorporated many of their own vintage furniture and decorative items into the decor.

Brianna designed the graphics for the altar and reception flags, napkins, and chair flags, and had her sister hand silkscreen each piece.

A favorite project of Brianna’s was creating unique seating cards for each guest. She paired vintage art with each guest’s personalities.

Brianna’s mom is a fantastic cook, so for guest favors they created homemade caramel sauce and canned them. Yum!

Looking back, I think my best decisions ended up being practical ones. Think in terms of what you can use after the wedding. The custom cloth napkins my sister silkscreened are perfect for formal gatherings at our home. The arbor my dad made is a beautiful addition to our backyard garden. And the altar flags my mom sewed are hanging above a window in my home office. Each time I look at these pieces it reminds me of how perfect my wedding day was, and I feel blessed for my life and all our wonderful family and friends.

I’m so thrilled to have been part of this wedding and to see it published here on 100 Layer Cake! I wish Brianna and Doug many, many years of happiness together in their marriage.
On a different note, I just wanted to point out that my company name is incorrect in your vendor credits: it is Honey Crumb Cake Studio, not Honey Comb Cake Studio. Thank you!
