It probably would have been suiting to have “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” playing while we were putting this post together. It’s girly to the max and so perfect for a Valentine’s Day party with the ladies. The theme for this all out pink, gold, and glittery soiree was “Oh Lovely”. Each of the hostesses invited two girlfriends for an afternoon of glittery, bubbly, giggly indulgence and requested that each guest bring a sweet treat to share and some sort of valentine-decorating supply. Oh, and a pink or gold party dress was required!

There were several stations, including a Valentine making table and pink and gold canopy over a pile of blankets and pillows, with stacks of girly magazines and glossy books to peruse.

As event vendors, we get to make all kinds of pretty things but we rarely get to enjoy them and celebrate among them. I collaborated with some of my dearest girlfriends and we decided to throw a party that was all about the ladies. The hostesses were myself, floral designer and stylist Juli Vaughn, paper goods designer Jamie Wyckoff of Julia’s Poppies, and makeup artist Andrea Carter. Since it fell shortly before Valentine’s Day, we were able to take advantage of all of the lovely pink and sparkle that the holiday has to offer!

We’re so happy these ladies shared this party with us!

  39. Got my first letter yesterday! Loved it. I feel like I am a element of something terrific that may be just starting to occur. Feeling a strange feeling of community around it all. Maybe you’re on to something here! Who would have ever imagined that people today would essentially print out words on paper just to have it sent from the mail to another person’s mailbox. Next thing you know, peoe will probably be growing their own food and walking or riding bikes everywhere. It’ll by no means function, damn progress.

  40. Wonderful blog you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any forums that cover the same topics discussed here? Make sure to check out her site and stay tuned! howshesparkles.com/‎ ! :)

  50. Thanks for your article. One other thing is when you are advertising your property yourself, one of the concerns you need to be alert to upfront is just how to deal with house inspection reports. As a FSBO owner, the key concerning successfully moving your property and saving money in real estate agent revenue is know-how. The more you realize, the more stable your sales effort will be. One area exactly where this is particularly important is information about home inspections.
