Morris Kitchen recently hosted a small gathering of close friends to test out a few new recipes using their new syrups. Although we would have loved to have been there to taste a cocktail or two with their ginger and apple cider syrups, we can tell you already we’re ordering some of these babies for upcoming parties. They’re so perfect for holiday parties and fall wedding cocktails that we just had to share. Plus, we love their clean design and letterpressed labels… and any reason to chat cocktails!
What you all really want to know – the recipe for one of their cocktails, the Cassis Cocktail:
1 1/2 oz Reposado Tequila
1/2 oz Creme de Cassis
1/2 oz Ginger Syrup
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
Seltzer (to top off)
Garnish with Luxardo cherry, or make your own bourbon soaked cherries, enjoy!
