All Gary Ashley of The Wedding Artists Collective had to tell us when sharing Gianna + Jeremy’s wedding with us was, “She’s a designer for Free People, and their wedding was adorable!”. We’d have to agree. They had fun with their details while keeping all their favorite things tied together beautifully: travel, music, ice cream, lush and green spaces, textiles, reclaimed materials, the talent of their friends and family. There wasn’t really a set theme – just a desire to provide a magical, playful, and romantic feeling to share with their community of loved ones. And we’re digging it.

My favorite artist, illustrator and dear friend Kris Chau graciously gifted her time and talent on designing our save the dates & invitations. She used Overnight Prints for our save the date postcards and Basement Press (local letterpress company in Philly) for our custom invitations. We just provided Chau with the verbiage and let her run with the tropical vibe and she made it all come together.

How pretty is Gianna’s coral gloriosa lily’s bouquet… never seen one like it.

Wise words from Gianna: Weddings bring out everyones crazy, so start meditating or practicing yoga right now. Trust your gut and ask for forgiveness later if there are disagreements. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I admit we did not exactly follow this advice. We did stay true to our vision but let the disagreements bum us out at times. In the end when it all came together everyone was focused on our happiness and loved our choices. Sometimes they have to see it to believe it. Moral of the story is TRUST yourself!

A lesser know track from the 60′s, “Everything to me” by Donnie Elbert was their first dance (Jeremy’s first dance ever!).

Many congrats to Gianna + Jeremy!

Wow, the details in this wedding are amazing…it’s like each wedding element is a beautiful story in itself! Absolutely gorgeous!
Her dress is so stunning! No one does vintage inspired like Jenny Packham, she’s just perfect and this dress looks like it was made for the bride! Her bouquet is so cool and so are the centerpieces, what are those spindly cactus-like flowers?
i like the classic black and white photograph, it shows a fun and layed back period.
The style is relaxed and yet very colorful. It shows a bit of whimsey and playful feel.
Great.

What a gorgeous dress!
Thanks so much for sharing this wedding, the photos are absolutely dreamy & Gianna was a pleasure to work with!
The bridal bouquet is Japanese Gloriosa that is left on it’s long stems, normally the blooms are cut off from the main stems and they are too short to use in a bouquet. It’s definitely a very unique bouquet.
All the low table arrangements featured a wide assortment of Protea in soft and bright shades and I had so much fun getting as many varieties as I could!
Oh wow! What a beautiful wedding. I adore the fabrics, and the reception venue… check out that roof!! Speechless.

WOW what a personalized wedding. This is a photographer’s dream. I love their stamps and it’s something I want to do now for my husband and I. Where did you get the stamp done?
I am very interested in the source for the fabric chandeliers and the petal garlands. Can you help me out?

Amazing blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your design. Bless youKaty Roofing Contractor, 831 Comstock Springs Drive, #A, Katy, TX 77450 – (281) 829-8297
