We love this time of the year! May hits, the sun starts to tease us that Summer’s coming, and our inbox gets happy with all kinds of bright weddings and inspiration shoots. Like this super bright and fun neon beauty, conceptualized by Sweet Sunday Events and photographed by Paige Newton Photography. Festive enough for Cinco de Mayo festivities this weekend? We think so!

The altar made with paper garland, rope, and fabric, hung for the happy couple to use as their backdrop. Macrame string displayed hot pink rocks in glass votives to brighten the middle layer. Stunning, right?

Loving the geometric patterns on the suite, designed by The Creative Parasol. The rsvp card check boxes read: HECK YES or aw, shucks.

Fun centerpiece of protea, garden roses, and ranunculus was assembled over a handcrafted leopard print tablecloth with white tassels.

They even included piñatas into their shoot! Take a peek at those geometric ones below. Nice twist on the traditional.

Ok, we’re ready for the weekend to get here. Oh yeah, and Summer too!

Can we get a DIY/how-to on that gorgeous altar backdrop? How freaking fantastic!!!
I can’t say I’m a big fan of this colour palette. It’s all over the place and the couple should’ve consulted a designer’s swatch book for more harmonious inspiration.
Best wishes to you!
Loving their stationery! I have a similar monogram that I got from a stamp @threedesigningwomen. And for all you other DIYers out there, I just got another one today from a sale on One Kings Lane!
